Great Northern Bushplanes

A pilot himself, Bob Grant has flown many of the airplanes used by bush pilots to service remote communities in Canada.  Starting with early aircraft, such as Junkers, Fairchilds, and Bellancas, the book then moves on to my favorite, The Norseman.  Reading yarns from old pilots Bob either knew or interviewed, I travelled back to the years when air travel was the main mode of wilderness transportation.  Even as time moved ahead to the Beavers, Otters, Cessnas, and other aluminum planes, the stories still held the frontier charm.

If you like bushplanes, this book is a must read.

It is available a some books stores and online used.
